An Certification Service Company Specializing in AHA Courses.
The American Heart Association is without question the recognized industry standard in health care certifications. That is why we chose to offer only their courses. Our staff consists of AHA instructors, technical support specialists and customer service specialists. We will soon expand the course list to include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) later this year.
History
Starting out with a friend in the '90s with a small training center, we had big dreams of becoming a state of the art center with the latest in training products and very flexible class schedules and a top shelf staff. It soon became apparent that this was easier said than done. Health care professionals have an extremely diverse set of work hours and schedules and combined with the fact that most AHA instructors have other jobs and school and family obligations to deal with. This is true of most training centers we came to find out and we looked for a way to accommodate smaller groups of students on a more flexible schedule rather than just institutions on a bi-weekly basis. The norm at the time was to wait to schedule a class until there were at least 10 students so that it was worth the instructors time. But we were constantly contacted by health care workers that needed their certifications renewed before the next scheduled class else they couldn't report to work. We struggled with this for some time before deciding to start a website. Much to our relief it was very well received, and we are looking to increase our course list and materials.
Future Goals
With the success and the popularity of our current training model, we are looking in to starting another eLearning company focused on public safety training of law enforcement, the military and other non-medical first responders. Driver Safety training, training for baby sitters & teachers as well as sports coaches that may have to deal with things such as allergic reactions, broken bones, accident victims, and such. Any person without a health care background, but might find themselves in some of the same situations that first responders find themselves on a daily basis.
